Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking a Head Barista in the UK to lead our coffee standards and train the team. You will inspire colleagues, dial in the espresso setup, and deliver exceptional drinks alongside outstanding customer service.

As Head Barista you’ll coach with confidence, maintain high quality, assist in day-to-day bakery operations, and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment at the heart of the local community.

Qualifications

• Strong barista skills and a genuine passion for high-quality coffee.
• Experience using and adjusting commercial espresso machines and grinders.
• The confidence and patience to train, coach and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the team to serve the World’s Best Coffee perfectly and consistently.
• Lead by example on the coffee machine, delivering exceptional drinks and warm customer service.
• Dial in and fine-tune the espresso machine and grinder to achieve the perfect extraction.
• Maintain excellent coffee quality, presentation, cleanliness and equipment care.
• Build colleagues’ confidence and knowledge through hands-on coaching and feedback.
• Prepare our award-winning food and uphold high standards throughout the bakery.
• Support the Management Team with the smooth day-to-day running of the bakery.
