Gateshead Council is seeking an HDRC Research Coordinator (fixed term until 30 September 2027) to support the HDRC Gateshead team and Public Health. You will help build research capability, coordinate multi‑agency projects, and ensure timely governance, data handling and dissemination of findings.

You will work with the HDRC Research Manager within Public Health, contributing to health improvement priorities and ensuring impact across council services. Applications for secondment are considered.

Qualificações

• Experience coordinating complex research or improvement projects, managing multiple priorities, and delivering outcomes within timescales, budgets and governance requirements.
• Understanding of public health, health inequalities and determinants of health.
• Knowledge of research governance, quality assurance and ethical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support building research capability and capacity across Gateshead Council.
• Ensure research activities have governance, training, learning, and knowledge dissemination in place.
• Coordinate with HDRC Research Manager to deliver HDRC priorities and Thrive ambitions.
• Lead governance activities, including ethics, finance and GDPR, with stakeholders.
• Coordinate communications to maximise reach and impact.
