Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe seeks an Engineering Site Services technician at Newark Hatchery to support the maintenance team. You will work largely independently, liaise with engineers and production, and help ensure equipment and handling trollies remain in safe, serviceable condition.

The role involves 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, nights with flexibility to cover holidays and day shifts. Primary duties include repairing setter trollies, farm trollies, egg trays, key trays, hatcher and chick boxes, dollies

Qualifications

• IT literacy and basic computer use.

• Experience inside a hatchery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in repair activities.
• Assist the engineering team with incubation issues as required.
• Repair setter trollies.
• Repair farm trollies.
• Repair broken egg trays where possible.
• Repair all key trays where possible.
• Repair broken hatcher and chick boxes where possible.
• Repair broken dollies and replace wheels where necessary.
