Job summary

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting for a HART Group Manager across GM and CAM areas. You will lead local operations, deputise for the Head of Special Operations, and oversee resources, fleet, estates and financial management within your stations group.

With expert knowledge of Special Operations, you will deploy resources to meet National Core Standards and maintain clinical skills, supporting staff welfare and health initiatives while working with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of operational leadership in the Pre-hospital setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other health professionals and blue light partners.
• Experience in the application of HR processes.
• Demonstrable experience leading teams to deliver against objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two-site operation, focusing on staff welfare and wellbeing within a specialist response team.
• Manage absence procedures, escalations with Team Leaders, and conduct investigations as needed.
• Ensure staff are trained, paid correctly, and have access to kit, equipment and vehicles.
• Support clinical skills implementation and maintain alignment with NHS Core Standards for the area.
• Contribute to on-call rota as National Inter-Agency Liaison Officer (NILO) and collaborate with HART Training Managers.
