Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker in Harrogate. The role supports learners aged 4 to post-16, with educational, pastoral and personal care needs. Hours are 8:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

This temporary or permanent position requires experience with children or vulnerable groups, the ability to obtain references, and an Enhanced DBS with Update Service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children, young people or adults as above
• We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles.
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service

Responsibilities

• Support learners with educational, pastoral and personal care needs
• Hours are 8:30 to 4pm, Monday to Friday
• We are committed to safeguarding and safeguarding checks are undertaken
