Empowering Learning Ltd in Bedale is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a cohort of specialist SEN schools. You will support pupils with a range of needs, including personal care, and help them access learning with patience and creativity.

Ideal candidates will have an Enhanced DBS, be able to provide two professional references, and be available full-time, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Makaton/PECS experience is advantageous, and you will work closely with teachers to foster

Formación

• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
• Two professional references.
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:30–3:30.
• Immediate registration after applying.
• Experience with complex needs SEND is desirable; Makaton/PECS is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Support communication needs using Makaton, PECS or other methods.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain routines.
• Create a safe, encouraging learning environment.
