This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving service and help build an ever larger network of partnerships to highlight harm reduction and health promotion across the borough.
You will co-ordinate across these partnerships focusing on key areas such as reducing alcohol related harm, safer injecting practices, and smoking cessation; with good knowledge on each of these areas.
You will work from the service site and, at times, across the local community, undertaking a wide range of promotion and development of partnerships to make our service more accessible.
The successful applicant will line manage a team delivering a variety of health-oriented interventions, encouraging development and learning both within the team and also our community partners.
Via Harrow is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions from a main treatment hub in Harrow and from a range of satellite services in the borough. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing, and functioning of Harrow residents, irrespective of circumstance.
This service is an established Community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning; it is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox alongside a comprehensive psychosocial and recovery focused model.
Harrow Recovery Centre is based at 97 Pinner Road, HA1 4ET, close to Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station.
This is a fixed term vacancy until 31 March 2026.
