Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Hardware Security Research Engineer to join our team at the intersection of hardware, embedded systems, and cybersecurity in the UK. You will research complex electronic and cyber-physical systems, identify vulnerabilities, and develop proof-of-concept solutions to security problems.

This hands-on role combines technical rigour with creativity: you will design prototypes, debug hardware with JTAG/UART/SWD, reverse engineer firmware where needed, and present findings to

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with electronics, embedded systems, or hardware development.
• Hands-on experience debugging hardware and building prototypes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
