Netholabs Ltd. in London is seeking a hardware product manager to own R&D delivery for the London lab and hardware programme. You will co-develop hardware with electronics and mechanical engineers, set data capture protocols, and engage contract manufacturers to scale.

This hands-on role requires turning prototypes into field-deployable systems, defining the product roadmap, and ensuring manufacturability, testability, and regulatory readiness for a research-device platform.

Formación

• Min 3+ years in hardware product management or related roles.
• Proven experience with contract manufacturers and NPI.
• Deep understanding of OTA update mechanisms and fleet management.
• Fluency across electronics, mechanical, and firmware to discuss technical trade-offs.
• Track record of writing clear specifications and protocols.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Responsabilidades

• Take prototypes to field-deployable systems and define the product roadmap.
• Specify and build OTA update infrastructure and fleet management.
• Own design-for-manufacture transition and BOM ownership.
• Identify and manage contract manufacturers from RFQ to sustained production.
• Establish data capture protocols across modalities for consistent data quality.
• Translate research needs into hardware requirements and validate with manufacturing.
• Build documentation and regulatory groundwork (ISO 13485-style, CE/UKCA).
• Support industrialisation of rodent recording platform.
