Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Lincolnshire is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of safety-critical products for high-reliability environments. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of innovative, cost-effective solutions and ensure designs meet manufacturing and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with 3D design tools (AutoCAD Inventor).

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D design software, preferably AutoCAD Inventor.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacture and component-level design.
• Exposure to safety-critical design requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of safety-critical products for high-reliability environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Engage in design reviews and translate requirements into manufacturable designs.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable and tolerances are met.
