Job Description:

The role involves delivering hands-on support to customer locations as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). It requires in-depth knowledge of both software and hardware configurations of physical systems, along with proficiency in the company's software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills to support users with varying proficiency levels.
• Proven experience in technical ICT roles.
• Installing and setting up computer hardware, networks, domain accounts, and troubleshooting hardware and user issues.
• Proficiency with Windows OS (Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2018) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of server and network infrastructure configuration and operation.
• Knowledge of hardware and software specifications.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas to customer sites.

Experience

• Solid education in IT and experience in an IT environment.
• Understanding of ICT issues, operating systems, software, data management, and hardware/services evaluation.
• Experience with cable dressing, management, termination, and cable limitations.
• Basic civil engineering skills.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and personnel at all levels.
• Effective time management to meet tight deadlines.
