Job summary

Saab UK is offering a structured two-year Graduate Engineering programme beginning September 2027. As a Hardware Graduate Engineer you will rotate through four six-month placements at our Oakley, Bedfordshire office, gaining hands-on experience with autonomous vehicles and related systems.

You will work within the Blue Bear business unit, supported by managers, mentors and peers, with a pathway to permanent roles based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum grade of 2:2.
• MS Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

The Graduate Programme:

By joining the Saab UK's Graduate Engineering programme in September 2027, you'll have the opportunity to have hands on practical experience with our unique products, while being supported by your managers, mentors and peers.

As a Hardware Graduate Engineer in this position, you will gain valuable experience across our Blue Bear business unit working on cutting edge Autonomous Vehicles technology.

This is a structured 2-year programme designed to provide a range of experience and understanding across our core engineering disciplines. You will complete four 6-month rotations at our office in Oakley, Bedfordshire.

Graduates will rotate as a cohort and finish with a final placement and there will be discussions for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
