Job summary

Saab UK invites physics and engineering graduates to join its Graduate Engineering programme starting September 2027. You will gain hands-on practical experience with our unique products while being supported by managers, mentors and peers.

As a Hardware Graduate Engineer in this programme, you will rotate across our core engineering disciplines, complete four 6-month rotations at our Oakley office in Bedfordshire, and join a cohort with potential conversion to a permanent role based on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum grade of 2:2.
• MS Office Suite.

The Graduate Programme

By joining the Saab UK's Graduate Engineering programme in September 2027, you’ll have the opportunity to have hands on practical experience with our unique products, while being supported by your managers, mentors and peers.

As a Hardware Graduate Engineer in this position, you will gain valuable experience across our Blue Bear business unit working on cutting edge Autonomous Vehicles technology.

This is a structured 2-year programme designed to provide a range of experience and understanding across our core engineering disciplines. You will complete four 6-month rotations at our office in Oakley, Bedfordshire.

Graduates will rotate as a cohort and finish with a final placement and there will be discussions for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Across the Programme You Will:

• Build real experience on real systems, gain industry recognised skills while rotating through our core Engineering disciplines.
• Develop strong professional networks through your managers, graduate mentors and others across the business.
• Be involved in continuous learning activities in both technical and soft skill environments.
