Saab UK is launching its Graduate Engineering programme in September 2027, offering hands-on practical experience with our Blue Bear business unit and cutting-edge Autonomous Vehicles technology.

The two-year programme features four 6-month rotations at our Oakley, Bedfordshire office, with mentors and peer support, and potential for a permanent role based on performance and business needs. You will gain exposure to software, testing, and systems integration while building professional networks.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's (or higher) degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum grade of 2:2.
• MS Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities.

The Graduate Programme:

By joining the Saab UK's Graduate Engineering programme in September 2027, you'll have the opportunity to have hands on practical experience with our unique products, while being supported by your managers, mentors and peers.

As a Software Graduate Engineer in this position, you will gain valuable experience across our Blue Bear business unit working on cutting edge Autonomous Vehicles technology.

This is a structured 2-year programme designed to provide a range of experience and understanding across our core engineering disciplines. You will complete four 6-month rotations at our office in Oakley, Bedfordshire.

Graduates will rotate as a cohort and finish with a final placement and there will be discussions for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
