A prominent audio technology company in High Wycombe seeks a passionate individual for a 12-month placement in their electronics hardware and firmware team. The role offers hands-on experience with responsibilities including running a hardware lab, assembling prototypes, and design work. Ideal candidates should have an interest in hardware projects and music technologies. A competitive salary of £25,100 is provided, along with opportunities for developing audio products.
We’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic person to join our electronics hardware and firmware team for a year.
This is a vital role for the team and will provide the opportunity to get some hands-on experience in a wide range of projects and technical areas. You will work with many other engineers in the hardware, QA and Production Engineering team and beyond, and get involved with products across Focusrite, Focusrite Pro and Novation.

Our placements are very popular, and that’s mainly because you can really get stuck in during your year with us. We don’t ask you to answer the phones and do the photocopying. We want you to help develop our products, market our brands, speak to our customers and make us better. A lot of our previous placement candidates are now full-time employees.
All placements last for 12-months. We pay you £25100 per year (£27100 for London-based roles), and you get to share some of the same benefits as our permanent employees.
