Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Staff Hardware System Test Engineer in the United Kingdom to build manufacturing test systems for AI hardware. You will develop test software, diagnose issues, and collaborate across hardware, firmware, software and manufacturing teams to improve test coverage and diagnostic capabilities.

You will lead substantial test workstreams, apply knowledge of silicon, boards and systems, and drive testability features and automation to enhance manufacturing KPIs and overall product

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing and deploying manufacturing test solutions for high-performance servers or large-scale compute hardware.
• Strong technical leadership as an IC, owning major workstreams across multiple teams.
• Deep understanding of silicon, boards and systems to define test coverage and lead complex debugging.
• Hands-on Linux, OpenBMC and vendor test tools in lab/manufacturing environments.
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash) to build reliable test infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy manufacturing test solutions for large-scale compute hardware.
• Create test software, diagnostics and content to improve test coverage and diagnosability.
• Lead complex root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software and manufacturing groups to enable testability.
• Influence engineering decisions to raise technical standards across the organisation.
