Job Description:

OUTSIDE IR35 Electronics Design Engineering Opportunity offering a skilled electronics professional a long-term contract role supporting the development of custom bespoke power supplies via analogue circuit design. The company is based in West Birmingham and provides a hands-on environment with a specialised, market-leading organisation, offering flexible working arrangements and remote collaboration with experienced design engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing basic analogue circuits
• Assembling and testing PCBs (SMD and through-hole components)
• Testing HV power supply designs
• Interpreting circuit drawings and overseeing the full build process
• Recording manufacturing and testing histories for new designs
• Procurement of suppliers and parts for development work
• Support with transformer winding as needed

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in electronics, preferably with a relevant degree or equivalent. UK citizenship and the ability to pass basic security checks (such as a DBS) are required.
