Job summary

Rogers McHugh is seeking a hard-working General Labourer for a Screwfix project in Paignton. You will support the site team with general labouring duties, move materials, and help tradesmen on site. A good attitude, punctuality and safety awareness are essential.

Must have a CSCS card and asbestos awareness. Previous labouring or construction experience is preferred, and you will need to be physically fit and reliable to thrive in a busy team environment.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: Valid CSCS Card
• MUST have Asbestos awareness (can be guided)
• Previous labouring or construction experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Hard-working and willing to get stuck in
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to follow instructions carefully
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Good awareness of health & safety

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general labouring duties on the Screwfix project
• Moving and handling materials and equipment
• Assisting tradesmen and other members of the site team
• Loading, unloading and organising materials
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Assisting with site preparation and clear-up
• Supporting the team with general duties as required
• Assisting with asbestos-related tasks where required and following all guidance provided
• Following site health & safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out any other reasonable labouring duties
