Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 tuition for children in the RG21 area. You will support primary learners, focusing on KS1/KS2 curricula and SEND needs to build confidence and engagement.

The role involves working with Local Authorities, flexible hours, and a patient, nurturing approach to education, with opportunities for long-term placements and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' tuition or teaching experience.
• Experience with primary-aged learners.
• Good understanding of KS1/KS2 curriculum.
• QTS preferred but not essential.
• Ability to plan engaging, personalised lessons.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND/ EHCPs is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, adaptable and encouraging approach.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service, or willing to obtain one.
• Driver preferred; travel within RG21 area.

Support Young Learners Through Personalised Education

We're looking for a Primary Tutor to support children in the RG21 area through tailored 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide personalised support to primary-aged learners who require alternative educational provision. Many of the children we support benefit from a patient, nurturing approach that helps build confidence, develop core skills, and encourage positive engagement with learning.

This is a rewarding opportunity for educators who enjoy making a direct impact on a child's educational journey through individualised support.

Location: RG21 Area

Key Stage: Primary (KS1 & KS2)

Hours: Flexible

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements
