Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a Hanger to join our production team. This full-time, on-site role involves placing chickens onto shackles on a conveyor and working with colleagues to meet targets.

Salary is £17.22 per hour, with a £1 attendance/efficiency bonus if targets are met. Training is provided, and benefits include a workplace pension, wellbeing hub access, cycle-to-work, gym discounts, death in service, free parking, and a canteen.

Job requirements of a Hanger

We are looking for a hanger to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for working as part of a small team. Placing chickens onto shackles, that rotate around a conveyor ready for the next stage of the process

Shift Pattern – Monday-Friday 14:00-22:30

Duties

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner
• Working closely with your team to ensure all shackles are filled
• This is a labour-intensive role and physically demanding as you will be standing for long periods of time
• To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include but are not limited to; offal packing, grading of organs and more.

What you will need

• Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
• Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment
• Possess high standards of work
• Have a basic level of both written and verbal English
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided
