Job summary

Mitie Group plc. at HMP Isis in West Thamesmead is seeking a Handyperson to carry out building maintenance tasks across the site. The role involves decorating, plumbing, and general repairs, with a focus on safeguarding the prison environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic decorating and plumbing tasks.
• Comfort working in a prison environment with security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform small decorating and plumbing duties.
• Fixtures of doors, windows, maintenance and repair tasks.
• Keep structures, fixtures, and systems in good condition.
• Escort sub-contractors on site.
• Carry out any reasonable request to perform duties which are normal in a Maintenance Building Services environment.
