Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Handyperson on a 6-month contract to carry out social housing repairs and general maintenance across Daventry and surrounding areas.

You will work Monday to Friday, with a van provided for daytime use, and you should have a full UK driving licence and practical skills in carpentry, groundwork, slabbing and paving.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or assisting tradespeople.
• Able to perform general repairs across social housing properties.
• Comfortable with basic carpentry and groundworks.

Join a well-established company on a 6-month contract as a Handyperson, carrying out social housing repairs and general maintenance work across Daventry.

The Handyperson role is offering:

As a Handyperson, you will be:

• Carrying out general repairs and maintenance
• Assisting tradespeople with their work
• Completing minor carpentry repairs
• Carrying out basic groundwork
• Completing slabbing and paving work
• Supporting with general repairs across social housing properties
• Working safely and to a high standard

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

• Previous experience as a Handyperson or in property maintenance
• Experience assisting tradespeople
• Basic carpentry skills
• Groundworks and slabbing experience
• A good range of practical maintenance skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Able to get to Daventry reliably for work

Location & travel

This role is based in Daventry, working across social housing properties and surrounding areas. A work van can be used during the working day, but you will need to be able to get to Daventry each morning.
