Job summary

Solutions Limited in Rugby, Warwickshire is seeking a reliable Handyman for a temporary-to-permanent role. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £27,000, based in Rugby.

You will handle practical site tasks, equipment movement, maintenance, cleaning, painting, and support installations, with opportunities to learn and progress within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Practical DIY skills and confidence using drills, grinders, and multi-tools.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Forklift license preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Jet washing, cleaning, and stripping down second-hand equipment
• Assisting with movement of machinery
• Supporting general site upkeep, including breaking down pallets and waste materials
• Carrying out painting, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks
• Supporting warehouse racking installation
• Helping with stock relocation and replacement as new systems are implemented
• Providing support during on-site installations, including two-person lifts and equipment setup
• Undertaking general DIY and ad hoc tasks across the site

Monday – Friday 40 hours per week

Fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hands-on Handyman / yard support operative to join a manufacturing company in Rugby in a temp to perm position.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable supporting a variety of operational and site-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities
