Job description

Hickory’s Smokehouse is seeking an experienced and reliable Handyman / Woman to join our team. You will lead a scheduled maintenance program across all our Yorkshire restaurants.

Your responsibilities will include attending all restaurants within the Yorkshire region regularly to address issues and coordinate repairs.

A valid driving license is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in basic maintenance and gardening, with good plumbing and electrical skills.

You will work approximately 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on workflow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a handyman or maintenance role
• Flexible, adaptable, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills, reliability, and punctuality
