Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Handyperson for a site-based role in Horsham. You will join a construction project as a Multi-Trader, handling mainly woodwork, metal work and minor snagging tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a current CSCS card, possesses a tool kit of hand and power tools, and has 2+ years of general building experience with good communication skills. This is a temporary, full-time position on-site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the Project Manager and Site Manager.
• Receive and complete job lists including woodwork, metal work and minor snagging.
• Main experience in external carpentry.
• Check drawings and set out works to be completed.
• Hand back snag sheets daily showing works completed.

The role:

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to mainly woodwork, metal work and minor snagging works.
• Main experience in external carpentry will be required.
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.
