Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in the Horsham area is seeking a Handyperson / Multi-Trader for a permanent role with a reputable construction company. You will work under the Project Manager and Site Manager, carrying out a range of tasks including woodwork, metal work and minor snagging.

The ideal candidate holds a current CSCS card, owns a toolset of hand and power tools, and has at least 2 years of general building experience, with emphasis on external carpentry.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required and must be current.
• Minimum 2 years in General Building.
• Must own hand and power tools.
• Experience in external carpentry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Project/ Site Manager.
• Receive job lists including woodwork, metalwork and snagging.
• Main experience in external carpentry.
• Check drawings and set out works.
• Return snag sheets daily showing completed works.

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Handyperson / Multi-Trader currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CSCS Card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Horsham

area.

• Role: Handyperson / Multi-Trader
• Location: Eastbourne
• Contract type: PERM (Full time)
• Pay rate: £35K (Dependant on experience)

The role:

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to mainly woodwork, metal work and minor snagging works.
• Main experience in external carpentry will be required.
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You MUST have a current and valid CSCS card.
• A minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.
