Job summary

A leading construction company is seeking experienced Handymen for a project in Birmingham. The role involves various duties including closing openings, patching plasterboard, and basic joinery work. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and a valid CSCS card. This is a full-time position with 10 hours of paid work each day, starting on May 12th, 2025.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Handyman.
• Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK.

Responsibilities

• Closing openings to risers/builders work holes.
• 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday (10hrs paid per day).

Job description

JRL / Midgard are looking for experienced Handymen to work on a project in Birmingham, B4 7PS. This site is available to start on Monday 12th May 2025 and is for 4 weeks in duration.

The JRL Group is a leading Construction company that specialises in Main Contracting & RC Frames along with 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex projects.

JOB DUTIES

• Closing openings to risers/ builders work holes (cutting & fixing ply to concrete)
• Patching plasterboard
• Concreting/grouting holes
• Basic joinery work build ramps shelves etc
• 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday (1hr lunch break) 10hrs paid per day

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Handyman
• MUST HAVE a Valid CSCS Card
• Tools & PPE Required
• Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK
