Job summary

Core Group is seeking an experienced Handyman for a short-term construction project in Belfast. The role includes basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, decorating and general maintenance.

Starting 28/09/2026, the contract runs for 5-6 weeks with standard hours from Monday to Friday (08:00-16:30) and CSCS considered essential for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Prior construction/maintenance experience.
• Good range of practical skills and ability to work independently.
• CSCS: Required/Preferred depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic carpentry, plumbing and tiling tasks on site.
• Install fixtures, maintain areas and complete snagging works.
• Keep work areas clean and safe throughout the project.

Rate: £21-£22ph

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 / 8 hours paid

CSCS: Required

We are currently looking for experienced Handymen to work on a construction project.

Duties may include:

• Basic carpentry
• Basic plumbing
• Tiling and minor repairs
• Installing fixtures and fittings
• General maintenance and remedial works
• Basic decorating
• Assisting with kitchen installations
• Repairing and replacing damaged materials
• Completing snagging works
• Keeping work areas clean and safe

Requirements:

• Previous construction/maintenance experience
• Good range of practical skills
• Able to work independently
• Own basic tools where required
• CSCS Card preferred/required depending on site
• 2 checkable references
• Good understanding of site health & safety
