Job summary

Cammach is seeking a permanent Workshop Assistant at our Aberdeen-based client. You will perform workshop operations, service and maintain equipment, and deliver high-quality work with safety and efficiency. On-the-job training will ensure adherence to procedures and continuous improvement across processes.

You will handle inventories, packaging, and communications with internal teams to meet customer requirements and on-time delivery, while supporting a collaborative workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be numerate and literate to Secondary School Education level.
• Be computer-literate to beginner's level in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Email packages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment through assembly/disassembly, painting, shot blasting, and pressure testing.
• Ensure servicing and upkeep of equipment to high standards for best service quality.
• Oversee load-out packaging to ensure correct and safe container loading.
• Maintain and certify equipment according to company procedures.
• Assist with equipment inventories before and after jobs.
• Process receipt and dispatch of Company equipment.
• Assist with materials ordering and document completion.
• Liaise with teams to meet customer requirements and on-time delivery.
