Job summary

DFDS in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive frontline operations, motivate a team and maintain high standards across goods receipt, storage, picking and dispatch.

You will lead by example, coach staff, manage workloads, monitor productivity and safety, and deliver daily briefings. Experience in warehouse or logistics and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is essential; join a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse/logistics or supply chain environment.
• Experience in a Team Leader or supervisor role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop staff while focusing on health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support warehouse colleagues to achieve targets.
• Oversee picking, packing, goods-in/out, and inventory activities.
• Allocate workloads and optimise resources across shifts.
• Monitor productivity, quality and accuracy, taking corrective action as needed.
• Deliver daily team briefings and communicate priorities and safety updates.
• Coach, train and develop team members and support performance reviews.
• Support stock accuracy, continuous improvement initiatives, and planning.
