Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a busy manufacturing operation in Bredbury, Stockport. This hands-on temporary role is initially 1-3 months with a strong likelihood of extension.

You will take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, supervising around 15 staff, and ensuring materials flow to production while maintaining accurate stock records on a safe, organized shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day running of the warehouse
• Oversee goods in and goods out activities
• Ensure production lines are supplied with the correct materials and kits
• Maintain accurate stock records and movements using Business Central
• Monitor stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies
• Keep materials flowing efficiently throughout the manufacturing operation
• Maintain a visible, hands‑on presence on the warehouse floor
• Resolve operational issues quickly to minimise disruption
• Work closely with the Head of Operations and wider production team
• Help maintain an organised, efficient and safe warehouse environment
