Job summary

ES Recruit are sourcing an experienced Warehouse Manager for a busy manufacturing site in Bredbury, Stockport. This hands-on temporary role will initially last 1-3 months with a strong possibility of extension. You will take ownership of daily warehouse operations and ensure materials flow smoothly to production.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience managing a warehouse in manufacturing.
Ability to lead a team of ~15 staff and cover day-to-day operations.
Strong focus on stock accuracy and logistics efficiency.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Oversee goods in and goods out activities.
Ensure production lines are supplied with materials and kits.
Maintain accurate stock records and movements using Business Central.
Monitor stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
Keep materials flowing efficiently throughout the operation.
Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the warehouse floor.
Resolve operational issues quickly to minimise disruption.
Work closely with the Head of Operations and production team.
Support an organised, safe warehouse environment.
