Job summary

Envisage Group Limited in the Reading/Wokingham area seeks a Technical Manager to own the Embedded and Power division, covering pre- and post-sales technical support, in-house test, EMC and production oversight. This hands-on leadership role makes you the go-to for design-in support and customer enquiries while managing a small team across field applications, test and production.

You should have a degree in Science, Engineering or Electronics and a broad background in electronics design,

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Engineering or Electronics or equivalent industry experience.
• Broad background in electronics design, manufacture and test.
• Experience with embedded boards, power supplies and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Design in franchised and third-party products to meet requirements.
• Resolve pre/post-sales enquiries, on-site and remote support.
• Source and qualify third-party products for customers.
• Create build/test docs, specs and user manuals.
• Oversee prototype manufacturing and integration of products.
• Supervise EMC testing and manage the in-house test facility.
• Generate wiring schedules and test reports.
• Lead a small team across field applications and production.
