Job summary

Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking an experienced Team Leader for a well-established manufacturing client based in the Bridgend area, Wales. This hands-on role requires you to lead, motivate and support a team of Assembly Operators to achieve production targets, quality standards and strict safety requirements on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ideally from an engineering or mechanical background.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team on the shop floor.
• Competent in the use of hand and power tools, including cordless drills and assembly equipment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Assembly Operators.
• Provide hands-on support within the production and assembly environment.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and performance across the team.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
• Support training and development of team members.
