You will perform routine checks, assist with minor repairs, safety checks and general site duties, contributing to the smooth running of the premises. A hands-on approach, attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in premises support, caretaking or maintenance.
• Practical DIY and repair skills.
• Ability to use basic hand tools safely.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritise tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of carrying out practical duties, with reasonable adjustments where appropriate.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and surrounding areas for maintenance issues.
• Assist with minor repairs and general upkeep.
• Report faults, damage and safety concerns.
• Maintain tidy entrances, corridors and communal spaces.
• Check fixtures, fittings, doors and windows.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment.
• Support the safe storage of tools and materials.
• Help monitor site cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist with deliveries and stock movement.
• Support contractors and maintenance personnel when required.
• Identify hazards and report them promptly.
• Follow site safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Assist with setting up rooms and workspaces.
• Help ensure facilities remain accessible and functional.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes.
