Job summary

5S Recruitment is partnering with a global Tier 1 automotive manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Quality Engineer in Oxfordshire. You will work with Manufacturing, NPI, Commercial and Engineering teams to ensure products, processes and systems meet customer expectations and automotive standards.

You will act as a key quality contact for customers and suppliers, using structured tools to resolve concerns and deliver permanent improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive quality environments with IATF 16949.
• Hands-on use of APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, control plans and MSA.
• Strong ability to drive root-cause analysis and containment.

Responsibilities

• Own customer complaints using structured 8D problem solving.
• Manage corrective actions and close issues with evidence.
• Be the quality contact for customers and suppliers, including portals.
• Maintain accurate quality docs and produce reports.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and PPAP documentation through NPI.
