Job summary

SLP Group is seeking a reliable Maintenance Operative to carry out general property maintenance across a portfolio of properties in and around the West Midlands. You will undertake repairs, painting touch-ups, basic plastering, joinery and garden maintenance to a high standard.

The role is full-time and permanent, working Monday to Friday with one Saturday per month, and requires a proactive, safety-conscious approach and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Experience in property maintenance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking.

• Flexible to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• General property maintenance across residential and commercial properties.
• Painting and decorating: touch-ups and minor decorating.
• Plastering: basic plaster repairs and patches.
• Joinery: minor repairs including doors and shelves.
• Basic plumbing: fixing taps, replacing washers, unblocking sinks.
• Garden maintenance: mowing, hedges, weeding, tidying.
