Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd in Sheffield is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to own full project delivery from workshop through to customer site. You will build and wire electrical control panels, program PLCs and support installation and commissioning for diverse industrial equipment.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, coordinating with suppliers, and taking responsibility for timelines, costs and technical queries on site across the UK, with some travel and occasional international

Qualifications

• Electrical HNC (minimum) with IPAF desirable.
• Strong control panel building and PLC programming experience.
• Reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire, terminate, test and fault-find electrical control panels.
• Program PLC systems across Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi platforms.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation.
• Support mechanical installation, machine build and site-based activity.
• Take ownership of project delivery including timelines, suppliers and costs.
• Carry out installation and commissioning on UK sites with occasional travel.
