Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Team Leader to join our client's Production Department on a temp-to-perm basis. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with previous supervisory experience and a solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly operations.

You will lead a production cell, allocate tasks, coach the team, monitor safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring deadlines are met and production records are

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement / Lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and quality procedures.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Syspro.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a production cell to meet daily production targets.
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities to production operators.
• Train, coach and support team members to improve performance.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, holidays and sickness in line with company procedures.
• Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved.
• Maintain quality documentation and operate the ERP system.
