Job summary

BRE is seeking a Physical Security Technician to join our Assurance Division in Watford. The role is hands-on, focusing on testing physical security products against national, international, and LPCB standards.

You will conduct manual attack testing using a range of tools, prepare technical data for reports, and assist with proposals while maintaining lab facilities and safety. This position offers career development within BRE's renowned certification services.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to conduct physical attack testing with manual tools to standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual attack testing of physical security products against standards and client specs.
• Prepare technical data for security reports and certification documentation.
• Assist drafting proposals for testing of security equipment and systems.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, testing facilities and storage areas.
• Support testing project delivery within timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to quality, compliance and testing procedures.
