CMR Recruitment Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Part Time Accountant to take ownership of the finance function for a growing SME book distributor. You will provide strategic financial oversight while remaining hands-on in day-to-day management of finances and operational support.

The role is 3 days per week, offering flexibility and the chance to work closely with Directors to drive financial performance and growth. Prior CIMA qualification and senior accounting experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Senior accounting/finance management experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills.
• Experience liaising with auditors and advisers.
• Payroll process understanding and tax planning.
• Proficient with Excel and financial software.

Responsabilidades

• Take overall responsibility for the finance function.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage reporting.
• Develop budgets and monitor performance.
• Provide management accounts and ad hoc reporting.
• Support strategic decision making with financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance and robust controls.
• Oversee payroll via external provider and holiday cover.
• Review financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Oversee credit control, funding, and debtor management.
• Assist with contracts, forecasting and business planning.
• Oversee HR administration and Health & Safety compliance.
