Job summary

Theo James Executive partners with a North East manufacturer to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for Peterlee. You will own Production and Supply Chain within a technically demanding environment and drive improvements while maintaining an entrepreneurial culture.

You will lead change, implement ERP, and support significant new product introductions, with scope to develop processes and a high-performing shop floor culture.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production and supply chain functions.
• Track record of delivering operational improvement and change.
• Experience with ERP platforms and NPI activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across Production and Supply Chain.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to improve capacity, planning, delivery and performance.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of a new ERP platform for operational value.
• Lead New Product Introduction activity and prep for future programmes.
• Develop and standardise manufacturing and operational processes for growth.
• Drive continuous improvement and credible performance management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Finance and Commercial teams.
