Job summary

Lexington Medical, Inc. in Bedford, MA is offering a 3-month internship for undergraduate engineers to gain hands-on experience on our fully onsite manufacturing line.

You will assist with day-to-day engineering tasks, address yield and quality concerns, perform repairs on production equipment, and help with training and process engineering. No experience is required beyond demonstrating ability in mechanical/electro-mechanical assemblies.

Qualifications

• Currently attending an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Engineering.
• No experience required; resume should show ability to build and debug mechanical/electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Interest in manufacturing and education in engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day engineering tasks on an operational manufacturing line.
• Address yield or quality concerns on the line.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on custom production equipment.
• Assist with training of team members.
• Support process engineering tasks and assess bottlenecks and efficiencies.
• Contribute to fixture design projects and related reviews and documentation.
