Job summary

MET Recruitment UK LTD is seeking a hands-on Product Test Engineer in Kingswinford to plan and execute physical product and mechanical tests on prototypes and test fixtures. You will work closely with Design, Technical and Quality teams to develop evidence for product development, quality and compliance.

This role focuses on tangible testing of manufactured items. You should have an engineering background with hands-on testing experience, be able to read technical drawings, and maintain

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing of physical products and prototypes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards (ISO/BS EN).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out physical product and mechanical testing.
• Prepare samples, prototypes and modified products for testing.
• Set up and maintain test equipment, fixtures and tools.
• Record test set-ups, results and conclusions clearly.
