Job summary

Concept Projects Group is seeking a proactive Mechanical Engineer to support a range of industrial and blue-chip client sites across the Wirral and North West. The role blends hands-on fieldwork with design input, spanning installation through to commissioning.

The successful candidate will have a practical mechanical background, with experience across pumps, motors, rotating equipment and fabrication, in fast-paced industrial environments such as FMCG or pharma.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar hands-on mechanical role.
• Good understanding of mechanical design principles and materials.
• Experience with installation support and site-based work.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical activities across industrial and blue-chip client sites.
• Provide practical mechanical engineering solutions from design through to installation.
• Maintain, repair and modify manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Repair and overhaul motors, pumps, valves, bearings and rotating equipment.
• Carry out fabrication, assembly and mechanical modification tasks.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD where required.
