W Talent are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a growing industrial engineering and manufacturing business in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. You will lead the design of bespoke machinery from concept to manufacture, installation and commissioning, while providing technical leadership to a small design team.

The role is hands-on and requires strong mechanical engineering knowledge, proven leadership, and hands-on design work using Autodesk Inventor.

Qualifications

• Experience designing bespoke machinery or complex mechanical systems.
• Proven track record leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Autodesk Inventor proficiency is essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of bespoke machinery and engineering systems.
• Take ownership of projects from concept through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership to the design team and mentor engineers.
