HSE Recruitment seeks an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Contractor to provide hands-on support at a large automotive site in Leicestershire. The role is a 2–3 month assignment, inside IR35 via umbrella PAYE, with a day rate of £400–£450 and a start ASAP.

The successful candidate will review risk assessments, identify gaps and offer practical guidance to maintain and raise safety standards on site at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HSE experience in automotive or similar environment.
• COMAH experience, ideally lower-tier.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and HSE documentation.
• Ability to advise operational teams and work independently.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day HSE support across the site, working closely with operational teams.
• Review, update and complete risk assessments and method statements where required.
• Review existing HSE documentation and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct gap analyses and develop practical action plans to address identified issues.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of effective health and safety procedures.
• Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees on HSE matters.
• Help ensure site activities comply with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Support ongoing site safety activities and assist with resolving outstanding HSE actions.
• Work independently, prioritising tasks and providing practical support from day one.
