Job summary

Hewn Yorkshire is a small, independent hospitality business offering peaceful, adults-only cabin escapes in North Yorkshire. We are seeking an experienced House Manager to run day-to-day guest and housekeeping operations and ensure a seamless guest experience throughout stays.

You will coordinate the housekeeping team, handle guest enquiries, and maintain high standards across cabins and facilities. This role is hands-on, requires initiative, and involves on-site work with occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, hotel, holiday-let or accommodation.
• Ability to coordinate or supervise a small team.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day guest experience
• Provide warm, efficient reception including check-ins/outs
• Coordinate housekeeping workload and cabin prep to standard
• Manage guest enquiries and routine communications
• Ensure stock, cleaning supplies and laundry flow are organised
• Liaise with Outdoor Team to keep cabins guest-ready
• Provide hands-on support with laundry, cleaning and deep cleans
• Be the main point of contact for guests during stays
