Job summary

W Talent are partnering with an established manufacturing business in Redditch to recruit a Development / Formulation Chemist. You will develop, optimise and commercialise product formulations from concept through to full-scale manufacture.

You will take ownership of laboratory trials, formulation development, raw material evaluation and manufacturing scale-up, working with Technical, Quality, Regulatory, Production and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Formulation/Development/R&D Chemist.
• Ability to develop and optimise formulations for manufacturing.
• Experience taking products from concept to commercialisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and commercialise formulations from concept to production.
• Conduct laboratory trials, stability testing, and performance evaluations.
• Evaluate and select raw materials and additives for development.
• Improve existing formulations for quality and cost efficiency.
• Support scale-up and transfer to manufacturing.
• Document formulations, tests and specifications.
