Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Finishing Plant Operator for our Hull site. The role involves hands-on operation of heavy plant and processing equipment in a demanding, dusty environment. You will work on 4 on/4 off 12-hour shifts and support production with routine tasks and data recording.

The successful candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, be safety-focused and able to work as part of a cross-functional team. Full training is provided and the position is permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, processing or heavy industry is preferred.
• Comfortable working in dusty, loud and physically demanding environments.
• Capable of operating machinery and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotary kilns, coolers, screens, blenders and related plant equipment.
• Prepare and feed raw materials into production processes.
• Monitor plant performance and equipment operation.
• Operate blending equipment and ensure batch specifications are met.
• Carry out routine inspections and report defects or safety issues.
• Record production data, process parameters and batch information.
• Prepare finished products for packaging and check labels/batch info.
• Monitor dust extraction and LEV systems.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across the plant.
• Report equipment faults, safety concerns and production issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Logistics teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives at the site.
